Strong Triple Jump Effort Headlines Penn Relays Weekend

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University's women's outdoor track and field has just wrapped up their events in the 130th running of the Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field. The top result throughout the three-day meet was Inara Shell earning third place in the triple jump.
Results | Day One
- Kei-Mahri Hanna was the only Owl to compete on Thursday. The freshman ran in the 400m hurdles (Championship) placing 21st out of 41 athletes with a time of 1:00.13.
Results | Day Two
- On Friday, Kamryn Ohm placed 11th out of 23 competitors in the pole vault (College) with a height of 3.75m (12'-3.5). Reece Sullivan also competed in the event and finished with a height of 3.45m (11'-3.75).
- In the 4x200m relay (Championship), Temple placed 13th out of 23 schools after Hanna, Mariah Jameson, Chloe Smith, and Lila Ziegler finished with a time of 1:38.05.
- Reagan Schwartz placed 14th out of 32 athletes in the triple jump (College) with a distance of 11.85m (38'-11).
- The 4x400m relay (College) team of Laila Cottom, Hanna, Smith, and Ziegler finished in 10th with a time of 3:47.39. The group just missed out on qualifying for the finals by less than a second.
Results | Day Three
- Inara Shell was the only Temple athlete to compete on Saturday as she placed third in the triple jump (Championship) with a distance of 12.44m (40'-9.75).
Up Next
The Owls will travel to Princeton, N.J. to compete in the Larry Ellis Meet from May 1-2. This will be their final meet of the regular season.
