LEWIS GARNERS ATLANTIC 10 WOMEN'S TRACK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK HONORS

PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Edith Lewis was named Atlantic 10 Outdoor Women's Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending April 6, 2003 it was announced today by the Atlantic 10.

At the Penn Invitational held this past weekend, April 5, 2003, Lewis placed first in the triple jump with a score of 38-4 and second in the long jump with a score of 18-2 1/4. Her mark in the triple jump is tops in the Atlantic 10 conference this season.

Next up for the Owls is the Delaware Invitational this weekend, April 12, 2003.
