VILLANOVA, PA - Senior goalkeeper Patrick Hannigan posted his second straight shutout since returning from a broken arm suffered in the preseason, but this time his counterpart, Villanova keeper Craig Bald, was equally up to the challenge as the Owls and Wildcats played to a scoreless tie in a Philadelphia Soccer Seven showndown at Villanova Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.

Hannigan made seven saves for the Owls over the 110 minutes of play, including a shot off the foot of 'Nova's Colin Raws in the 72nd minute that appeared headed for the left corner of the net before Hannigan miraculously deflected with his foot.

Owl forward Nate Webb had the team's best scoring chance late in the first half, but was unable to beat Bald (five saves).

Temple, 4-1-1 on the season, next plays Philadelphia Soccer Seven rival Pennsylvania on Wednesday at Temple Stadium. The match is slated to start at 3:30 p.m.
