Individually, Owl junior Billy Mullen shot a final round one-over 71 to take second place and close out a three-round total of six-under 204 (67-66-71). It marked the best tournament finish of Mullen's career.
The Terrapins took home the tournament title firing a three-under par 837 over the three rounds, including a closing round even-par 280 on Saturday. Towson (six-over par 846), Rutgers (12-over par 852) and Princeton (21-over par 861) rounded out the top-five, with Boston College, Iona, Connecticut and Villanova placing ahead of tournament host Saint John's. Seton Hall, Fordham and St. Thomas Aquinas rounded out the field.
Maryland's Dan MacDonald shot the lowest score of the final round, a five-under par 65, to capture The McLaughlin individual championship. MacDonald, who was eighth going into Saturday's final round, posted a three round total of seven-under 203 to take the victory by one stroke over Mullen.
Temple senior Matt Roberts (73-71-69) and freshman Logan Terry (70-71-72) finished tied for tenth with three-over par 213 efforts. Other Cherry & White competitors included junior Pat O'Neill (T-22nd, 71-73-72=216) and senior James Chan (T-24th, 74-71-72=217).
