Columbus, Ohio -- The Temple volleyball team (0-4, 0-0 A-10) felt the sting of defeat for the fourth straight match this season as it lost to 12th-ranked Georgia Tech three games to none at the Buckeye Classic on September 5. The game scores were 15-30, 20-30 and 9-30.

Sophomore outside hitter Stephanie Buynovsky led the Temple attack with nine kills as no Owl recorded double-digit kill numbers . Junior setter Alison Runk dished out 21 assists for Temple. Freshman Linsey Morningstar was injured early in the match and did not return.

Lauren Sauer (17 kills) led the Georgia Tech offense but the Yellow Jackets were also strong on defense as they recorded 13 blocks in the match. As a team, Georgia Tech hit a sizzling .587 while Temple hit just .029.

The Owls will next face the loser of the Ohio State/Western Michigan match on Sunday, September 7.
