TEMPLE'S ADENIYI, CLINTON AND DAVIS POST A-10 TRACK AND FIELD SEASON-BEST MARKS IN FOUR EVENTS

Senior Aderonke Adeniyi, junior Rachel Clinton and freshman Erin Davis has posted four marks in the early indoor track and field season that has qualified the trio for the ECAC Championships later in the season. Overall four Owls have qualified for the ECAC Championships with junior Jessica Dunston qualifying in the 55-meter hurdles.

Adeniyi has recorded the fastest 200 meter and 400 meter times this season, both times were accomplished at the Great Dane Classic in New York on January 18. She ran the 200 meter dash in 25:02 seconds. The ECAC qualifying time for the 200 meters is 25:14 seconds. She ran the 400 meter dash in 57.05 seconds bettering the ECAC qualifying time of 57:34 seconds.

Clinton and Dunston ran the two fastest conference times this season in the 55-meter hurdles at the Bucknell Octagonal on January 24. Clinton recorded a time of 8.20 seconds and Dunston crossed the tape in 8.24 seconds.

Davis, a freshman is the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week leaped a conference best 5-7 (1.70 meters) tying the ECAC qualifying mark in only her second collegiate meet at the Bucknell Octagonal on January 24.

The Owls will next compete at Penn State on January 30-31.
