Sophomore center Candice Dupree, the A-10's field goal percentage leader at 64 percent, is Temple's scoring (16.7 ppg.) and rebounding (6.6 rpg.) leader. Cynthia Jordan is the team leader in assists (4.3 apg.) and leads the conference in assist/turnover ratio (2.3/1).
Senior guard Judit Zsedenyi leads Massachusetts in scoring at 10.5 points per game . Brooke Campbell is the rebounding leader for the Minutewomen at 8.0 boards per contest.
Temple (5-6, 1-0 A-10) leads the all-time series 21-20 and the Owls hold a 4-2 edge in the Dawn Staley Era. Three of the last six meetings between Temple and UMass (4-9, 0-2 A-10) have been decided in overtime, including last season's 89-80 thriller at the Mullins Center where despite Stacey Smalls setting a new Temple record for three-pointers with nine, the Owls went down in defeat.
