BRISTOW EARNS LEAGUE HONORS IN MEN'S SOCCER

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University men's soccer freshman Stephen Bristow has been named Philadelphia Soccer Seven co-Player of the Week and Atlantic 10 Conference co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 3.
Bristow, a forward from New Castle, England, scored the game-winning goal in the Owls' 3-2 overtime win over defending A-10 Champion Rhode Island on October 1. He also assisted on Temple's other two goals in the match, which served as the Grand Opening for the program's new Ambler Soccer Field.
For the year, Bristow leads the Owls and the Soccer Seven in scoring with three goals and three assists for nine points (1.13 ppg.). Temple next plays at Xavier on October 8 at 7:00 p.m.
