TONY DONATELLI NAMED OWLSPORTS.COM ATHLETE OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

- Junior midflielder Tony Donatelli of the men's soccer team has been named the Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month for the month of November. Donatelli, a first team all-Soccer Seven and second team all-Atlantic 10 Conference pick, helped lead the Owls to a 3-1 month and a berth in the A-10 Championship match for the second straight year.

The Glenside, Pa native (Germantown Academy) scored four goals and added three assists for 11 points in the four matches the Cherry and White played in November.  Donatelli notched a goal and an assist in the team's 6-1 win over Saint Joseph's (Nov. 6) in the team's regular season finale.  He then assisted on the Owls' lone goal in a 1-0 win over La Salle in the first round of the A-10 Tournament (Nov. 11).  Donatelli followed that with a hat-trick in Temple's 3-0 win over Dayton in the conference semifinal match (Nov, 12).  Temple fell to host George Washington, 2-0, in the final (Nov. 14).

Donatelli, the Soccer Seven leader in scoring (21 points) and assists (nine), was also named to the A-10 all-Tournament team.

Temple finished its men's soccer season with a 12-8-2 record.
