COLLEGEVILLE, PA -- Seniors Rachel Clinton and Jessica Dunston finished one-two in the 55m hurdles for the second straight week to lead Temple to a third place finish at the Ursinus Winter Invitational on Saturday in Collegeville, Pa. Clinton (8.12) and Dunston (8.21) both met ECAC qualifying standards in the event.

In the 400m, freshman Jessica Starace finished fourth in a time of 60.5h while adding a fifth place showing in the 200m (26.49). Clinton placed fifth in the 55m dash (7.43) and freshman Shavaun Christian placed second in the high jump (4'11 3/4"). Freshman Judy Wong finished third in the long jump with a leap of 16'3 1/4".

Temple had a strong showing in the relays, with the distance medley team winning in a time of 13:04.87. The 4x200 relay finished second (1:46.29) and the 4x800 relay placed third (9:49.79).

Morgan State won the invitational with 135 points and was followed by Towson (75), Temple (57), Delaware State (31.5) and Mansfield (26.5).

Temple is off until the new year when it competes in the Delaware Invitational on January 7, 2005.
