TEMPLE WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS TEAM FALLS TO AUBURN, NEW HAMPHIRE, AND YALE

DURHAM, N.H. - The Temple women's gymnastics team placed last with a 191.225 score in the annual Fox Run Invitational on February 21. In the four-team meet hosted by New Hampshire, #16-ranked Auburn finished first with a 196.00 score. Host New Hampshire followed with a 195.20, while Yale took third with a 191.300 score.

Overall, only two Temple gymnasts finished in the top 10 of any event. Junior Alexis Zafferes placed ninth on vault with a 9.725 score. On beam senior Paige Ozaroski finished in 10th place with a 9.725 score.

In the meet freshman Jillan Kornett and Sarah Liebowitz each posted a personal best score. Kornett earned a 9.450 on beam, while Liebowitz scored a 9.725 on bars.

The Owls next travel to Rutgers on January 28 to compete in a quad meet featuring host Rutgers, Maryland, and Bridgeport.
