Xavier (15-7, 7-4 A-10) enters the game riding a six-game win streak and is the number two team in the Atlantic 10's West Division. The Musketeers lead the all-time series 7-2, including the last meeting, a 64-56 win on February 13, 2003 at the Liacouras Center. Temple (12-8, 8-1 A-10) is number one in the A-10 East and is 4-5 on the road this season.
Sophomore center Candice Dupree is the Owls' top scorer (13.9 ppg.) and rebounder (7.4 rpg.). She is number two in the A-10 in field goal percentage (57.8 percent). Junior guard Cynthia Jordan, who ranks number two on the team in scoring (9.2 ppg.), leads Temple in assists (4.2 apg.) and tops the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.9/1). Two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week, freshman guard Britney Jordan leads the Owls in scoring in conference games at 11.6 points per A-10 outing.
Sophomore forward Tara Boothe leads the Musketeers in scoring (18.6 ppg.) and rebounding (7.4 rpg.) She is the A-10's fourth leading scorer. Freshman guard Miranda Green is Xavier's top distributor, averaging 3.6 assists per game.
