PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Paige Ozaroski and sophomore Diedre Mattocks led Temple's bars team to a new all-time team record of 49.350 as the women's gymnastics team defeated Cornell 193.275 -- 192.225 in its final home meet of the season. On bars Ozaroski and Mattocks each tied Temple's individual all-time bars record of 9.90 to tied for first in the event at the meet. Teammate Sarah Liebowitz set the 9.90 mark in a quad meet last weekend held at McGonigle Hall.

With strong tumbling passes and a solid dismount on beam Ozaroski picked up her second victory of the day by scoring a 9.800. Almost dancing through her fluid beam routine, sophomore Lindsey Stern finished second with a 9.775 score.

Freshman Sarah Liebowitz nailed a dynamic floor routine, full of difficult tumbling and intricate dance moves to win on floor with a 9.800 score. On bars Liebowitz placed close behind Ozaroski and Mattocks with a 9.875 score to take third place.

Senior Jennifer Beaver added a third place finish on floor (9.750).

Normally strong on vault, Temple struggled in the event. Katie Domenico was the lone Owls to place on vault, finishing second with a 9.650 score.

The Temple women's gymnastics team returns to action next weekend at the Atlantic 10 Invitational in Washington, D.C., where the Owls will take on Rhode Island and George Washington in their final regular season meet.
