WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS HEADS TO USAG NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
3.25.04 | Women's Gymnastics
Temple will contend for the USAG national title against Air Force, Centenary, Cornell, Texas Women's University, Seattle-Pacific, Southern Connecticut, and University of California Davis.
Last year, Temple advanced to the final round of competition at the USAG National Championships and placed fourth overall. Four Temple gymnasts earned USAG All-American honors by finishing among the top eight in their individual events.
Jennifer Beaver, Erin Davis, and Paige Ozaroski all return to the meet as USAG All-Americans for the Owls. Davis, the highest individual place-winner for the squad in last year's meet, finished third on beam and added a sixth-place all-around finish. Beaver earned a fourth-place finish on beam, while Ozaroski took fifth on bars and eighth on beam.
Cheryl Cerminaro, Katie Domenico, Lindsey Stern, and Alexis Zafferes all add one year of post-season experience to Temple's line-up.
