TEMPLE DOWNS LA SALLE, 6-1, IN MEN'S TENNIS

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University men's tennis team travelled up Broad Street to take on city and Atlantic 10 rival La Salle Monday afternoon. The Owls won every match with the exception of number four singles in posting a 6-1 win. With the victory, the Cherry and White improves to 3-4 on the season.
The Temple singles wins, all in straight sets, were recorded by Tyler Wynne (#1), Yhonny Murray (#2), Matt Struble (#3), Jon Sy (#4) and James Logan (#6). Wynne and Murray teamed for an 8-1 win at first doubles with Elad Ziv and Sy taking second doubles (8-5). Logan and Struble completed the Owl doubles sweep with an 8-5 win. Ziv fell at fourth singles in a tough, three-set match.
The Owls complete their regular season slate at Villanova on April 6 (3:00 p.m.). TU will then travel to Monroeville for the A-10 Championships (Apr. 8-10).
