RACHEL CLINTON EARNS HER SECOND A-10 WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD PERFORMER OF THE WEEK AWARD

PHILADELPHIA-Junior hurdler Rachel Clinton was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Track & Field Performer of the Week for the week ending April 11. Clinton ran an Atlantic 10 best-time of 14.11 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday April 10. Clinton also was selected the Performer of the Week for the week ending March 22.

Clinton, the reigning A-10 Conference Indoor 55-meter hurdles champion has posted the conference's two fastest-times this season, an ECAC-qualifying mark of 14.26 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Raleigh Relays on March 27 and improved on that performance by posting a 14.11 last weekend. Clinton has become the favorite to win the 100-meter hurdles title at the A-10 Championships to be held on May 1-2 in Richmond, Virginia. The ECAC qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles is 14.44.

Next Temple will compete in the Morgan State Invitational on Saturday April 14.
