TEMPLE'S LOGAN TERRY NAMED A-10 GOLF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University freshman Logan Terry was today named the Atlantic 10 Conference Golf Rookie of the Week. Terry earned the honor after shooting a three-over-par 145 (72-73) to finish tied for seventh at the Princeton Invitational, April 9-10.
It is the second career rookie of the week award for Terry. He also received the league citation in the fall of 2003 after a 13th place finish at the John MacDonald Classic.
Terry's seventh place finish at the Princeton Invitational marked his third career top 10 showing. His efforts on the par 71, 6,390-yard Springdale Country Club helped the Owls to a fourth place finish out of 22 universities. Temple finished ahead of three A-10 schools (George Washington, Richmond and Saint Joseph's), as well as Philadelphia Big 5 rivals Penn and Villanova in the tournament.
