PHILADELPHIA - Temple junior Tyler Wynne was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Player of the Week for men's tennis. Wynne shares the honor with Xavier junior J.R. Randall.
Wynne defeated Ron Gargullo of La Salle at number one singles, 6-2, 6-4. He then teamed with Yhonny Murray for an 8-1 doubles win to help lift Temple to a 6-1 win over the Explorers in the Owls' only match of the season.
Temple, 3-4, next plays at Villanova April 6. The Owls then play at the A-10 Tournament starting on April 8 in Monroeville, PA.
