CLINTON, CAMPBELL, DUNSTON AND DAVIS TO COMPETE IN ECAC WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEKEND

PHILADELPHIA- Temple's Rachel Clinton, Jessica Dunston, Jaweia Campbell and Erin Davis will compete at the ECAC Championships to be held May 15-16 in New Haven, Connecticut. Each athlete posted qualifying marks or times during the 2004 outdoor season to become eligible for the championships.
A trio of Owls will compete in the 100-meter hurdles. Clinton, a junior enters the meet as the A-10 Champion and coming off her fastest time of the season 13.97. Dunston, a junior placed second at the A-10 Championships(14.05) while Campbell, a senior qualified for the meet with a time of 14.30, which earned her third place at the conference championships. The ECAC qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles is 14.44.
Davis, who is a freshman, is the lone representative from an A-10 school in the high jump. She qualified for the championship by leaping a conference best mark of 5-8 on March 20 at the Quaker Invitational. The ECAC qualifying mark in the high jump is 5-7.
