RACHEL CLINTON ADVANCES TO 100-METER HURDLES FINAL AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Clinton sprinted to sixth place in the prelims with a time of 13.95. She improved on her time in the semifinals qualifying seventh out of a qualifying field of eight in a time of 13.88.
Fellow Owls Jessica Dunston and Jaweia Campbell advanced to the semifinals after Dunston (14.28) placed 11th in the preliminary heats while Campbell finished 14th with a time of 14.45. Dunston (14.29) and Campbell (14.56) were eliminated in the semifinals finishing 14th and 16th respectively, out of 21 competitors.
Freshman Erin Davis will compete tomorrow in the high jump competition. She is the lone representative from an A-10 school in the high jump. She qualified for the championships by leaping a conference best mark of 5-8 on March 20 at the Quaker Invitational. The ECAC's qualifying mark in the high jump is 5-7.
