CLINTON AND DUNSTON COMPETE IN NCAA WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD EAST REGIONAL

GAINSVILLE, FLORIDA- Juniors Rachel Clinton and Jessica Dunston competed at the NCAA Women's Track & Field East Regional on Saturday May 29 in Gainesville , Florida on the campus of the University of Florida..

Clinton competed in the 100-meter hurdles placing 18th out of 30 of the best hurdlers in the nation with a time of 13.91.

Dunston competed in the 400-meter hurdles placing 30 out of 32 competitors with a time 1:04.94.

Clinton and Dunston qualified for the NCAA Regional by winning their events at the A-10 Championships held on May 2 in Richmond, Virginia. Clinton won the 100-meter hurdles conference title and Dunston placed second in the 100-meter hurdles and captured the 400-meter hurdles crown.

This event marks the end of the Owls' 2004 outdoor track and field season.
