TEMPLE GOLF IN 17TH PLACE AFTER ROUND ONE OF NAVY FALL INVITATIONAL

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Temple University golf team, playing in its first tournament under new head coach Brian Rogers, is in 17th place after shooting a 31-over par 315 in round one of the Navy Fall Invitational. The tournament concludes tomorrow on the par-71 United States Naval Academy Golf Course.
Sophomore Logan Terry was the Cherry & White's top performer on day one, shooting a 73 to enter Sunday tied for eighth place.
Princeton is in first place in the team standings. The Tigers (296, +12) own a three-stroke lead over George Washington (299, +15), a four-stroke lead over Rutgers (300, +16) and a five-stroke lead over Saint Joseph's (301, +17).
William & Mary's Tim Pemberton shot an even par 71 to take the top position on the individual leader board. Six players are tied for second place with 72-stroke scores.
Tournament action continues Sunday morning with the first tee time at 7:45 a.m.
