MEN'S TENNIS OPENS AT SWARTHMORE INVITATIONAL

SWARTHMORE, PA -- Seniors Tyler Wynne and Yhonny Murray won the Flight A doubles competition at the Swarthmore Invitational to lead the Temple University men's tennis team in its opening weekend of competition, Saturday and Sunday, September 18-19. Wynne and Murray defeated a Swarthmore doubles team, 8-6, in the championship match. The two posted 1-1 records in singles competition as well. Junior Elad Ziv and sophomore Matt Struble lost in the finals of the Flight B doubles competition to a team from Bucknell, 8-4. Like Murray and Wynne, the duo each won and lost a singles match during the tournament.
