PHILADELPHIA - Temple University senior goalkeeper Patrick Hannigan posted a Player of the Week trifecta, earning Atlantic 10 Conference, Philadelphia Soccer Seven and Owlsports.com honors for the week ending September 19.

Hannigan, a product of Philadelphia's Frankford High, posted consecutive shutouts to lead the Owls to a 2-0 week. On September 15, he made seven saves in a 1-0 win at regional power Rutgers. He followed that with four saves in a 2-0 win at Drexel in the team's first Soccer Seven match.

Hannigan won the A-10 and Owlsports honors by himself but shared the Soccer Seven award with Villanova freshman Don DeMasters.

For the season, Hannigan lowered his goals against average to 1.11 and improved his save percentage to .828.

Hannigan, who tied a school-record with nine shutouts last season, now has 14 career shutouts.
