HANOVER, NH - The Temple men's soccer team saw its three-match win streak come to an end Friday afternoon with a 2-1 loss to Central Connecticut State at the  adidas/Hypertherm Classic hosted by Dartmouth. The Owls, 3-4 on the season, will take on Dartmouth Sunday (1:30 p.m.).

Caleb Neves opened the scoring in the 11th minute off an assist from Renson Haynes to give CCSU a 1-0 lead.  Central Connecticut made it 2-0 midway through the second half when Alex Harrison went in alone on Temple keeper Patrick Hannigan (four saves) with 27 minutes remaining.

Junior sweeper Joe Brocker tallied for Temple in the 80th minute.  Brocker one-touched a nice pass from freshman Steven Bristow, driving the ball past Andrew Bierman (five saves).  For Brocker, it was his second career goal, his first since his freshman season (2002).
