CANDICE DUPREE NAMED A-10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA-Junior center Candice Dupree was named the Atlantic 10's Co-Player of the Week for the week ending January 1. This is the first conference honor for Dupree after being named Preseason All-Conference First Team earlier this year.

Dupree scored 27 points and posted game-highs of nine rebounds and four steals in 24 minutes of play to lead Temple over Maryland-Eastern Shore on December 30th. The junior missed just one shot the entire game, going 11-12 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line. She accounted for 11 of the Owls' 13 points in the first seven minutes of the game. Dupree leads the Owls in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocks, averaging 16.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg.
