#21/20 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO TAKE ON HOST OREGON SATURDAY NIGHT

EUGENE, ORE- After taking down Michigan in the first round of the Women's Sports Foundation Classic, the #21/20 Temple women's basketball team will face host Oregon on Saturday night on Oregon's McArthur Court in the championship game. Tip off is set for 10 p.m. EST.

Khadija Bowens led Temple with 14 points and Candice Dupree chipped in with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds as #21/20 Temple defeated Michigan, 65-48 in the opening game of the Women's Sports Foundation Classic on Friday night. Dupree also blocked five shots. Temple improved to 17-15 overall in season openers.

Oregon (1-0) held the St. Francis Red Flash (0-1) to 25.0 percent shooting (12-of-48), while draining 62.3 percent (33-of-53) of their own field goals, putting an exclamation point on the first day of the Women's Sports Foundation Classic and defeating the Red Flash 80-30. Gabrielle Richards tied her career high with 19 points, leading all scorers. Junior center Carolyn Ganes added 15, scoring 13 in the second half. The Ducks led 37-10 at halftime, setting a team record for fewest points allowed in a half. Oregon shot 53.8 percent (14-of-26) from the field, led by Richards' 14. UO held a huge edge in rebounds, 24-10, and limited the Red Flash to 14.3 percent (4-of-28) shooting.
