TONY DONATELLI NAMED SOCCER SEVEN PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Donatelli led the Soccer Seven in scoring for the second straight season, tallying a league-best 17 points and six goals while tying for the lead in assists with five. He also posted a league-best 0.94 points-per-game average and helped the Owls (6-10-2) finish undefeated in their last five games. The Glenside,

The Penn Quakers were voted the overall 2005 Soccer Seven champions by the league's coaches. Penn put together a strong 9-6-3 showing this season, and were ranked among the top 20 in the nation. Rudy Fuller of Penn was the recipient of the Bill Harris Coach of the Year award while Villanova's Joe Taylor earned Freshman of the Year honors
Tim Mochan, a senior midfielder for Drexel, was chosen as the John McAdams Academic Player of the Year. Mochan, a four-year starter for the Dragons and two-year team captain, posted a 3.97 grade-point average while majoring in business administration.
