#17/19 WOMEN TRAVEL TO TAKE ON BONNIES ON THURSDAY NIGHT

PHILADELPHIA- The 17th-ranked Temple women (20-3, 12-0 A-10) travel to Olean, N.Y. in search of its 18th straight win on Thursday night as they take on the Bonnies of St. Bonaventure (8-15, 3-9 A-10) at 7 p.m. With February 13th's win over Rhode Island, Temple clinched its second straight A-10 East Division title.

Cynthia Jordan scored 16 points to lead five Owls in double figures as Temple's balanced offense stifled the Rhode Island Rams, 70-56, on Sunday afternoon at the Liacouras Center. Temple, which is on a 17-game winning streak, improves to 20-3 overall and 12-0 in the Atlantic 10, while the Rams fall to 5-18 overall and 3-9 in conference play. Kamesha Hairston and Jennifer Owens chipped in with 12 points apiece, a tally which tied Owens'career high, while Candice Dupree and Ari Moore each scored 10 points. With the win, the Owls have also clinched the Atlantic 10 East Division title.

Dupree leads the way for TU with 15.9 points and 9.2 rebounds per game to pace three Owls in double figures. She is followed by Jordan (13.4 ppg, 4.35 apg), and Hairston (13.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg).

In the teams' last meeting on January 13, 2005, Dupree recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds in just 21 minutes of action. Hairston just missed her second double-double in three games, scoring 16 points and grabbing nine boards, in 15 minutes of play. Ashley Morris scored a career-high 13 points and Jordan chipped in with 12 points and a game-high seven assists.
After this trip, Temple will come home to host Dayton on Sunday, February 20 at 2 p.m.

A late second-half run propelled Duquesne to a 68-55 victory over St. Bonaventure on Sunday afternoon. Stefanie Collins poured in 18 points to lead the Bonnies. She also dished out three assists and pulled down five rebounds. Tory Vyborny added 15 points to go with six boards, two blocks and two steals.
Collins leads the Bonnies with 14.4 ppg, 40 steals and 57 assists. Vyborny is averaging 12.3 ppg and a team-leading 6.3 rpg. Caitlin Crist has also dished 57 assists.
