OWLS PLACE FIFTH AT ECAC WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

HARRISONBURG, VA -- The Temple women's gymnastics team placed fifth with a 190.125 team score at the ECAC Gymnastics Championships, held Saturday evening at
Temple's best event of the Championships was floor exercise, as the team combined for a 48.325 total as senior Cheryl Cerminaro led the way with a 9.775. The Owls also performed well on vault with a 48.150 score as fellow upperclassman Lexi Zafferes posted a 9.725 to pace the Cherry & White.
Senior Erin Davis and freshman Christine McNeill each turned in 9.600's on the uneven bars to contribute to the team's 47.875 total.
Junior Lindsey Stern was the only Owl to compete in the all-around. She posted a 37.625 score.
