MEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS LA SALLE FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WIN

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's tennis team posted its second consecutive win, defeating visiting La Salle, 6-1, Wednesday afternoon at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center. The Owls improved to 3-8 on the season while La Salle fell to 2-2.
Tyler Wynne and Yhonny Murray combined to win at first doubles and then went on to take straight set singles matches at the first and second slots, respectively. Matt Struble and Elad Ziv took the second doubles position to earn the Owls their first point of the match with the two also being victorious at third and fourth singles. Kris Celtnieks took the final point fir the Cherry and White with a win at sixth singles.
The Owls next play at Villanova on April 5 before traveling to the A-10 Championships on April 7.
