PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University men's head tennis coach Bill Hoehne has been fired from his position for failing to comply with University policies, announced Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw.

Hoehne compiled a 37-63 won-loss record in his seven years as the Owls' head coach, including a 3-9 mark in 2004-05. His best season at Temple came in 1999-2000, when he posted a 7-6 record and a second-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships.

A search committee will be formed to evaluate potential candidates for the next Temple University men's head tennis coach.
