WOMEN'S TRACK COMPETES AT MORGAN STATE INVITATIONAL

BALTIMORE, MD -- The Temple women's track team had several strong individual performances at this weekend's Morgan State Invitational in Baltimore, Md. Sophomore Tynisha Gardner turned in a season-best time of 26.00 in the 200m with a ninth place showing and in the jumps, sophomore Kehnesha Oldacre and Jillian Faulks had season-bests in the long and triple jumps, respectively.
Oldacre finished 11th in the long jump with a leap of 5.37m, while Faulks was 7th in the triple (10.60m). Both the 4x800 (9:46.20) and distance medley (13:15.31) relays won their events, as well.
The Owls will split its squads next weekend and travel to the Princeton and Kutztown Invitationals.
