OWLS WIN SCOTTY DUNCAN MEMORIAL FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR

MIDDLETOWN, DE -- The Temple University men's golf team shot a two-round 590 (297-293) to win the Scotty Duncan Memorial, played at the Par 71 Frog Hollow Golf Club, for the second straight year. The Owls, who trailed by seven strokes after Sunday's opening round, bested second place
Senior team captain Billy Mullen (72-72) and sophomore James Boose (72-72) each carded two-over par 144's on the 6,589-yard course to finish tied for second in the 50-player field. It marks the tenth career top ten finish for Mullen, who won the individual crown at the Navy Spring Invitational (April 16-17) in the team's last outing.
Senior Patrick O'Neill rebounded from an opening round 80 to shoot a 73 on Monday to finish tied for 15th with a 153 total. Senior Matt Roberts (74-81) and sophomore Logan Terry (79-76) finished tied for 18th with 155 totals to complete the scorecard as every Cherry & White entry finished among the top twenty.
