MEN'S TENNIS POSTS 6-1 WIN OVER ST. FRANCIS

BROOKLYN, NY--The Temple men's tennis team continued their successful fall campaign on Wednesday as they traveled to St. Francis (NY) and came away with a 6-1 victory. The Owls (2-0) swept the doubles competition. Milan Juricka and Jon Sy won at #1 doubles, while Matt Struble and Zach Tobias teamed up to win at #2 doubles. Rob Spencer and Philip Gegenheimer completed the sweep with a victory in the third spot.
Temple came close to a complete sweep as they won five of the six singles matches. Struble and Gegenheimer posted victories at second and third singles, respectively. Tobias won at fourth singles, Sy at fifth, and Kris Celtnieks posted a win in the sixth spot to round out the Owls' scoring.
The Owls will be back in action on October 5, when they host Philadelphia University at 3:00 p.m.
