DUPREE EARNS SECOND A-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

PHILADELPHIA-Senior All-America candidate Candice Dupree was voted the Atlantic 10 Conference's A-10 Player of the Week for the week ending January 13th. This is the second Player of the Week honor for Dupree, who is the Conference's defending Player of the Year.
Dupree averaged 18.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg and 3.7 spg in leading #19/20 Temple to a 2-1 week. She netted a season-high 29 points and grabbed six rebounds in an overtime win at La Salle (1/8) and added team-highs of four assists, four steals and three blocks in leading TU to its 24th consecutive A-10 victory. Dupree narrowly missed a triple-double against Fordam (1/13) after earning 19 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high seven steals. At George Washington, the senior had eight points and seven rebounds (1/11).
Temple is 11-4 overall and 3-1 in A-10 play.
