Yue Liu Earns A-10 Player of the Week Award

PHILADELPHIA -  Temple University junior Yue Liu earns her first Atlantic 10 Volleyball Player of the Week award after a successful weekend. Liu led her team to two victories in the conference against Fordham (3-1) and Rhode Island (3-0).


Yue Liu averaged 5.14 kills and 4.14 digs per game while hitting .375 on the weekend. She posted 21 kills and 18 digs in the 3-1 win over Fordham on Sept. 29 and hit an impressive .519 clip with 15 kills and only one error in a 3-0 sweep over Rhode Island on Sept. 30.

With her leadership on the court, she helped bring TU move its record above .500 with a 9-8 overall mark and 3-1 in A-10 conference play.
