KRISTEN FOLEY INDUCTED INTO NEW ENGLAND SPORTS HALL OF FAME

KINGSTON, RI - Temple University Associate Athletic Director Kristen Foley was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame at a ceremony held at the University of Rhode Island on Friday, October 6. Foley was part of the fourth class of inductees of the New England Basketball Hall of Fame, which honors players, coaches, administrators and referees from the high school through the professional ranks.

Foley, who is in her 12th year working at Temple University, is being inducted for her career as a standout girls' basketball player at Peabody (MA) High. Foley, an All-State performer at Peabody (1982), went on to earn a scholarship at Rutgers University where she helped lead the Scarlet Knights to consecutive NCAA Elite Eight appearances.
