Women's Crew Signs Three to National Letters of Intent

PHILADELPHIA - Temple head women's crew coach Tim Hagan has announced the signings of Andrea Konski, Caitlin Pennington and Allison Stengel to National Letters of Intent.
"I'm excited that they signed with us," Hagan said. "I'm looking forward to them being contributors to our program when they arrive here in the fall."
Konski, a Fort Washington, Pa. native, attended Germantown Academy where she finished third and second in the Novice 8 at the Philadelphia City Championships and the New Jersey State Championships, respectively. She also has a strong background in swimming.
Pennington, coming all they way from Dallas, Texas, attended Episcopal School of Dallas. Pennington is an accomplished sculler and finished second in the quad at the prestigious Stotesbury Cup Regatta in May 2006 in Philadelphia. Among her many other accomplishments, Pennington was named to the Dallas Morning News all-area team.
Stengel, a Pennsauken, N.J. native, attended Camden Catholic High School where she was a two-year member of the Varsity 8 that rowed at the Stotesbury Cup, Nationals and the Head of the Charles Regatta.
