McRae Leads Temple Again At Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, NJ - Freshman Brittney McRae led Temple with a pair of third place finishes as the women's track and field team competed at the Princeton Invitational on Friday night. McRae, the reigning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, placed third in the 60m hurdles (9.24) and the long jump (18-3 3/4).

Freshman Melissa Gale finished sixth in the pole vault (10-10) while sophomore Rose Drayton was seventh in the 60m dash (8.16). Sophomore Carlleen Allison finished ninth in the 300m (43.10).

In the relays, the 4x400 comprised of junior Shanice DePass, junior Natashia Gehr, McRae, and Drayton finished fifth (4:02.89).

The Cherry and White are back in action after the semester break at the NYC Gotham Cup on January 12.
