Hairston Earns Third Straight A-10 Player of the Week Honor

PHILADELPHIA- Senior captain Kamesha Hairston has earned her third straight Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor for the week ending December 17. For her efforts, Hairston has also been voted the Philadelphia Big Five's Player of the Week. This is her second Big Five award.

She notched her fourth double-double in five games in Sunday's win over Miami (Ohio).The senior led the Owls with 23 points, 21 of which came in the first half, and 13 rebounds, 10 of which came in the first stanza to give Temple a 50-27 lead at the break. She also added five assists, three steals and two blocks to her impressive 23 minute performance.

Hairston leads Temple and the A-10 in scoring (22.3 ppg) and rebounding (9.8 rpg) and is currently ranked third in the country in scoring.
