DUPREE EARNS THIRD A-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

PHILADELPHIA-Senior All-American candidate Candice Dupree was named the A-10's Co-Player of the Week for the week ending February 10. This is the third A-10 POW for Dupree this season.
Dupree averaged 14.5 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 3.5 blocks per game, 4 assists per game and 1 steal per game to lead Temple to a 2-0 week, outscoring their opponents 141-87. Against Duquesne, Dupree scored 13 points, dished four assists, earned two blocks and one steal as the Owls led by as many as 42 points en route to the 79-44 victory. Dupree notched her sixth double-double of the season against Saint Louis, with 16 points and 12 boards to go along with a career-high five blocks and four assists yet again. Dupree posted four blocks and 11 points in the second stanza to help Temple to its 18th win and ninth in the A-10.
