WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- Northwood, a nationally-ranked NAIA team, sent the Temple men's tennis to its second straight defeat, 6-3, Saturday afternoon. The Owls, who had played five matches in five days, end their spring trip and return to Philadelphia with a 9-4 record.
Temple dropped its top four singles matches before Eduardo Saavedra and Zach Tobias pulled out the fifth and sixth positions, respectively. Tobias and Saavedra also teamed for the Owls' lone doubles win, taking the third slot, 8-1.
The Owls next play at Delaware on March 15.
