MEN'S TENNIS BLANKS ST. THOMAS FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

MIAMI -- The Temple men's tennis started its spring trip off in a good note, defeating St. Thomas (Fl.), 7-0, to post its fourth straight win.  The Owls improve to 7-2 under first-year head coach Steve Mauro.

The Owls' singles winners (in order) were Milan Juricka, Daniel Davis, Matt Struble, Eduardo Saavedra, Philip Gegenheimer and Zach Tobias.  In doubles, Jordan Krevitz and Saavedra teamed at first doubles for an 8-5 win while Juricka and Gegenheimer won at second doubles (8-2) with Davis and Struble blanking their opponents at the third slot, 8-0.

Temple returns to action March 8 against Florida Atlantic.
