MOORE PLACES FOURTH ON FLOOR AND SEVENTH ON BEAM AT USAG NATIONALS

ITHACA, NY -- Junior Noelle Moore placed fourth on floor and seventh on the beam logging the Temple women's gymnastics team's highest scores at the USAG Collegiate Nationals, and qualifying her to compete in the USAG finals to be held tomorrow. The Cherry and White finished seventh overall with a score of 188.950, their highest total of the season. UC Davis took the top spot (191.475) followed by
Out of seven qualifying teams competing in the Collegiate Nationals, the Owls tied for first on the vault with
Moore turned in dazzling performances on both the beam and the floor, earning top ten spots in both events.
Moore and junior Sarah Liebowitz qualify for first team USAG All-America honors. Liebowitz placed fourth in All-Around, logging a 37.875. Sophomore Desiree Meredith earned second-team USAG All-America honors for her performance on the vault. Meredith turned in a 9.650 on the apparatus. The Cherry and White finish their season 5-19.
