WOMEN'S TRACK COMPETES AT TERRAPIN INVITATIONAL

COLLEGE PARK, MD - Sophomore Shavauan Christian finished eighth in the high jump by clearing 1.53m to lead the Temple women's track and field team at the Terrapin Invitational this weekend. Freshman Devon Dupont also cleared 1.53m to finish ninth in the event. Sophomore Cheryl Anscombe ran a season-best time in the 100m (12.58) to finish 28th.

Sophomore Noelle McKenzie was 22nd in the 800m (2:25.89). In the jumps, sophomore Judy Wong finished 34th in the long jump (4.87m) and Reava Potter was 31st in the triple (9.28m).

In the throws, freshman Amanda Cole was 32nd in the shot put (10.28m) and the discus (26.73m) and 21st in the hammer throw (35.36m).

Temple finished 26th overall in the 27 team field. Maryland won the event with 108.5 points, followed Hampton (86) and Morgan State (80).
