OWLS' STRUGGLES CONTINUE AT PRINCETON INVITATIONAL

PRINCETON, NJ -- The Temple men's golf team continued to struggle this spring season, finishing 14th with a two-round, 56-over par, 624 (323-301) at the Princeton Invitational, played April 8-9 at Springdale Gold Club. Junior team captain James Boose was the Owls' top performer for the third consecutive tournament, carding an 11-over 153 (81-72) to finish tied for 30th on the par 71, 6,380-yard, course.
Freshmen Pat Rugg (81-76) and Adam Pifer (80-77) both posted, 15-over, 157 scores to finish tied for 51st in the 75-player field. Sophomore A.J. Tomasello (86-76) and freshman Kevin Busteed (81-81) round-out the Cherry & White scorecard, finishing tied for 71st with, 20-over, 162 efforts.
The tournament was scheduled for 54 holes, but was shortened to 36 due to poor weather conditions.
