TEMPLE MEN'S SOCCER ANNOUNCES 2006 SCHEDULE

PHILADELPHA -- Head coach David MacWilliams and the Temple Owls have announced their 2006 men's soccer schedule, beginning with a game on August 26 at Philadelphia Soccer 7 rval Philadelphia University.  The Owls are coming off a 6-10-2 season in which they finished 4-3-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference play..

The Owls will participate in two tournaments, the UNLV Adidas Invitational held September 1-3, where Temple will face UNLV and Denver, and the South Carolina Tournament on September 8-10.  Temple will play South Carolina and Winthrop.

Temple will play host to the defending A-10 champion Saint Louis on October 22.  Other Atlantic 10 teams making the trip to Temple are La Salle, Charlotte, Richmond, Saint Joseph's, and Duquesne.  TU will travel to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Fordham, and St. Bonaventure.  The Owls schedule will wrap up at Charlotte for the Atlantic 10 Tournament on November 2 and 3.
