PHILADELPHIA- Temple travels to St. Bonaventure Friday looking for its eighth straight win and second in Atlantic 10 play. The Owls, who took down city rival Saint Joseph's on Tuesday night, tip off at 12 p.m. against the Bonnies. This is the 41st meeting between the Temple Owls and the St. Bonaventure Bonnies. Temple leads the series, 25-15, and have won the last eight meetings. The teams last met on January 15, 2006, when Temple defeated SBU, 74-65, at the Liacouras Center.

Lady Comfort's first double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) of the season led three Temple (11-4, 1-0) double-figure scorers in an Atlantic 10 season-opening 59-53 win over Saint Joseph's Tuesday.  Kamesha Hairston finished shooting just 6-for-16 from the floor for 15 points and eight rebounds. LaKeisha Eaddy, running a team-high 36 minutes with Hairston, scored a game-high 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting while adding six rebounds and three assists. Ashley Morris collected a season-best 28 minutes and six assists.

Hairston leads Temple in scoring and rebounding, averaging  21.6 ppg and 9.7 rpg. Comfort is second with 12.6 ppg and Fatima Maddox is third, averaging 11.7 ppg. Eaddy continues to put up great numbers, with the guard fourth in scoring (7.7 ppg) and first in assists (58).

Duquesne led for the last 35 minutes of the night en route to a 55-46 win over St. Bonaventure on Tuesday. The Bonnies saw their six-game winning streak come to an end and suffered their 10th consecutive loss to the Dukes. While the Bonnies got their typical defensive effort, they struggled on the offensive end all night. St. Bonaventure's 46 points matched a season low. The Bonnies shot just 30 percent (16-54) from the floor, including 1-14 from beyond the arc. Ashley Edwards led SBU with 13 points, while Dana Mitchell grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

Audrey Latendresse leads SBU in scoring, averaging 13.0 ppg, while Mitchell is second with 11.6 ppg. Edwards is tops in rebounds (7.7 rpg), while Priscilla Edwards leads in assists (55).

Don't I Know You From Somewhere?

Ashley Morris will face off against former Central teammates Ashley Edwards and Megan Ellis when the Owls take the floor on Friday afternoon. The trio led Central to a 23-3 record in their senior season.

Player of the Week
