BOSTON, MA - Sophomore Amanda Cole shattered her own school record in the weight throw with a distance of 50-1 3/4 as the Temple women's indoor track team competed at the unscored Terrier Classic at Boston University this weekend. The Owls also sent competitors to the Bucknell Bison Open this weekend. Sophomore Devon DuPont was fifth in the pentathlon (3281 points). Junior Noelle McKenzie was third in the 800m (2:24.83) while classmate Shanece Pratt turned in a 9th (200m, 26.77) and 11th (60m, 8.06) finishes.
Temple will again split its squad next weekend at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the New York City Armory and the Ursinus Open.
